Please join us, and our brewing industry friends, at our Raleigh celebration of beer, the third World Beer Festival-Raleigh presented by All About Beer Magazine. With the World Beer Festival-Durham now enjoying its thirteenth successful year, we are proud that this parallel event in our capitol city has established an identity all its own.

The motivating force behind both of these events is the desire to support our home communities, to teach a targeted market about the beauty of beer, and to build a local market for exciting beers. The Triangle has emerged in recent years as one of the country’s exciting beer cultures, with multi-tap bars and specialty beer retail, and a knowledgeable beer-loving population.

Behind our focus on city-sized festivals is the drive to create a positive beer environment. That’s why we limit the number of attendees, the number of breweries, and the number of vendors. Brewery representatives want to talk to beer lovers. Beer lovers want to sample a wide variety of beers. Connecting that beer culture to local restaurants, retail outlets and wholesalers completes the circle.

We believe that the atmosphere of the World Beer Festival—the beer culture—is central to making this happen. The World Beer Festivals have achieved an appealing balance: a festive environment that promotes the best of beer.

The third World Beer Festival-Raleigh takes place, once again, in the middle of the central park, surrounded by one of the most exciting commercial and entertainment districts in the City of Oaks.

Our festival evolves every year. We get wonderful feedback from brewery representatives, wholesalers, attendees, and volunteers. Using this advice, we continually improve the quality of the event, always with an eye on providing an exciting and safe experience for the enjoyment and promotion of good beer.

When the gates to Moore Square open on April 26, we hope you’re there to help welcome our guests to the World Beer Festival.
