2001 Quill & Tankard Awards

The North American Guild of Beer Writers announced the winners of the 2001 Quill and Tankard awards during the Great American Beer Festival in Denver on September 29, 2001. Entries were judged by the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Winners received a commemorative tap handle statuette provided by Century Manufacturing Company, Wichita, KS.

The awards were presented at a special dinner, held at the Wynkoop Brewing Company in Lower Downtown, and sponsored by Anheuser-Busch.
